Having served as a pilot in the United States Air Force, Ryan later flew for PSA Airlines, blending his adventurous spirit with his professional career. For Ryan, flying was more than just a job—it was a calling, a way to explore the world and embrace life’s many perspectives. Friends remember him as a man with an old soul, someone who found happiness in simple pleasures like playing the fiddle, sharing stories around a campfire, and making every moment count.
