The community is mourning the peaceful passing of Jonathan Pearce, who departed this life on October 5, 2025, at the age of 34. Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Jonathan’s loss has left a deep void in the hearts of those who loved him. Known for his gentle spirit, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family, Jonathan will be remembered as someone who brought light and laughter wherever he went.

His presence in the lives of friends and family was one of comfort and strength. Those who knew Jonathan best speak of his loyalty, humor, and the genuine care he extended to others.  A Beloved Son, Father, and Friend

Jonathan’s greatest joy in life was his family. He was a devoted father to his son, Kayden James Pearce, whose bond with him was filled with love, guidance, and pride. Jonathan is also survived by his loving mother, Shelley Pearce Sr. (Goss), and his siblings, who remember him as a steadfast source of support and laughter.

His family reflects fondly on his ability to see the good in every situation and bring people together with his easygoing nature. Jonathan’s life serves as a reminder that kindness and compassion can leave an enduring mark  a legacy that continues to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Honoring His Memory and Legacy

A visitation for Jonathan Pearce will be held on October 10, 2025, at the McCabe-Roof Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at the same location. The gathering will allow loved ones to reflect, share memories, and celebrate a life well-lived  one that, though cut short, touched countless hearts.

As the Marion Center community unites in grief, they also find solace in remembering the goodness Jonathan embodied throughout his life. His peaceful passing reminds us to cherish every moment with those we love and to live with the same generosity and compassion that defined him.
